In general, a pretty decent value for money place and don't forget they do free corkage as well! 1. The crab noodles were damn good, without the crab, I can just go nuts on the noodles itself. - The crab was fresh and plump and packed so much goodness within those shells. - the noodles packed so much damn flavor it was just amazing 2. Golden corn kernels or smth was just pops of flavor in your mouth. Corn with salted egg was just great to start the meal 3. Prawn with salted egg, dish was done so well! 4. Venison is one of the key dishes to order here. Surprisingly tender, similar taste to beef but so good A meal for 12 with one crab dish set us back around $444. Surprisingly it was very affordable! If we removed the crab dish, it would have been only $300!!

Nothing too impressive, the food was just average. Nonetheless, service staff deserved a 5-star, they were friendly and patience. The KL Hokkien noodle was a bit bitter, with generous serving of the pork lards but overall taste was disappointing. There was no wow effect for their signature fermented pork, the chilli that came with the dish was spicy though. Pricing was reasonable, dining area was clean and comfortable.

Love the crab bee hoon. The sauce that comes with the bee hoon has a lot of wok hei. The fried har chiong chicken is fantastic. The venison with spring onion is good. The fried pork goes well with the sweet garlic 🌶️ sauce. They do not charge corkage unless you open 3 bottles. Kam hiong lala was good. Service is fast and good.

Been wanting to come here since seeing some food bloggers reviews online. Waited for a long time to come here and finally had an opportunity to come with a group of friends. The crab bee hoon was waaaay too salty. In fact every dish we had today, other than the corn, was salty. It’s just that the crab bee hoon was a lot saltier. We have a friend tonight who loves salty food and even she finds the bee hoon too salty for her liking. I can only conclude that food bloggers are paid. So… you do the math.

Heard quite a few good things about Long Ji Zi Char and decided to gather a few of my friends to come here for a Friday dinner. All seats before 8.15pm were already fully reserved 2 weeks before so we had to settle for a late dinner. Ordered the dishes which I saw were featured / must order on social media. Everything was generally good but my favorites were the crab bee hoon, steamed fish, fermented sauce pork and gong bao chicken. These 4 dishes make me want to come back again. The crab bee hoon is no joke, many consider it to be one of the best in Singapore, and I heartily agree.

Was recommended by a friend so came to try. The food is really mediocre. Don’t understand why so good business. We were seated at a corner outdoor and it was quite terrible. Ordered the chilli lala ended up no chilli at all and sent back to kitchen to add chilli. Bamboo clam is hard. Overcooked. The crab bee Hoon is ok. Other than that really nothing impressed. Won’t b back for sure.

Very crowded but food was overall good Crab beehoon 4/5 : one of the best crab beehoon I’ve eaten recently, very tasty with wok hey. However they said it was 1.3kg which does not feel like so. String beans 5/5: wok hey with minced pork. Extremely tasty Kam Heong lala 5/5: love the seasoning, a mixture of garlic chilli heibi lemongrass onions. Hong Kong steamed fish 2/5: over-steamed and overcooked. Prob don’t order this ever Will def come back to give another chance despite it being abit pricey and crab not the weight they say. May try the fermented pork next time as well

We dropped by for a quick and simple dinner. The place was fully booked on a Friday evening, hence, is better to make reservation. We did not order the popular crab 🦀 as we didn’t have the luxury of time. All the dishes were cooked well, the taste was strong (重口味) and flavourful except for the fried rice.
